Airport security – its a joke!

I have recently been on holiday abroad with my family including my 13 month old daughter. On travelling through the various airports namely Ronaldsway (Isle of Man), Manchester and Arrecife in Lanzarote I was amazed at the the total waste of time and effort that goes into the passenger security checks. The total ban on liquids is just a joke.

On several occasions I had drinks and refreshments confiscated from being taken on to the aircraft, but I was more amazed that not only was I asked to taste baby drinks and milk, the security staff didn’t even watch me when I was asked to do so! On several occasions I didn’t even taste the liquids I was carrying on board when I was asked to because staff were not observing me! Why are airport security staff being asked to enforce these rules if they are not being carried out thouroughly?

Airport security its a joke!
