No damage sustained in Santon – so far
January 9, 2008Despite being continually battered by the wind last night there was no evident damage to my house this morning. The gale force winds continue to batter the Isle of Man and northwest with reports of gusts up to 105 mph!I have had broken sleep during the night due to the noise so I don’t think today will be too productive!

Didn’t hear a thing in the depths of Douglas last night. I think we’ve got a bit of debris in the gutter so must have had some wind but not like the barren plains of Santon!
